Please remember that to be eligible for insurance through this program you must:
- Be a member of SCI **If you are not a member, you can join by visiting, http://member.scifirstforhunters.org/join/
AND - Be a Professional member in good standing of APHA.
When your application is received by Sportsman’s Insurance Agency, they will contact the APHA office to verify the applicant is an APHA Professional member in good standing.
The APHA Board of Directors has defined a Professional member in good standing as those APHA Professional members who are participating in or those members who have pledged to participate in the Hunter Preservation Fund program. To pledge to participate please call the APHA office.
The pledge is as follows:
I agree, as a Professional Member of APHA, to participate in the Alaska Hunting Preservation Fund (HPF) program which substantially helps to support the long-term sustainability of non-resident hunting opportunity and the professional guide industry within Alaska. By agreeing to this pledge I hereby agree to facilitate the $200.00 HPF fee per client to APHA.
